5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Wednesday, January 3

1 Last night, the Framingham City Council met for the first time in 2018.

They unanimously re-affirmed their vote to keep District 5 City Councilor Dennis Giombetti as Chair and District 1 City Councilor Charlie Sisitsky as Vice Chair.



2.  The first City of Framingham School Committee meeting is scheduled is tonight at 7 at King Elementary School. The School Committee will elect a new chair tonight. Click here for the full agenda.



3. MUSTANGS in action:

  • The Marian High hockey team will battle Cardinal Spellman¬† at the Warrior Arena in Brighton at 3 p.m.


4. FLYERS in action:

  • Girls basketball is hosting Concord-Carisle at 5:30 at Framingham High gym.
  • Boys hockey is hosting St. John’s of Shrewsbury at 5;30 p.m. at Loring Arena


5.  Wilson Elementary PTO is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. today.
