Milton Defeats Framingham 8-1

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls ice hockey team lost to the Wildcats of Milton High Saturday afternoon at Loring Arena.

The Flyers came out hard after preparing for a challenging game against Milton.

Milton scored 5 goals in the first period despite goalie Hailey Vanaelstyn’s efforts.

Senior captain Ava Lopez scored late in the first period on a pass from Georgia Parker.

Despite the Flyers efforts 3 more goals were scored by Milton in the second period.

No teams scored in the third period.

The final score was 8-1 Milton.

The Flyers played a great game never gave up, and gave it there all.

Framingham is now 0-3, under head coach Mitch Mortali.

The Flyers will face off against Shawsheen Tech on Monday at 4:15 p.m. at Loring Arena.
