Framingham Man, 51, Indicted On Rape and Assault Charges

FRAMINGHAM – A Middlesex Grand jury indicted a Framingham man, 51, on rape and assault charges.

Indicted in November was William Perez, 51, 2D Interfaith Terrace of Framingham. The charges were rape, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery (4 counts).

Framingham Police arrested Perez in April 2017. Perez is accused of raping, beating and leaving a Framingham woman, he met while watching the Boston Marathon. The woman was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in critical condition.

The assistant district attorney prosecuting the case is Margaret Pastuszak.
