FRAMINGHAM – A Middlesex County grand jury indicted a Framingham man, 28, on drug trafficking and distribution charges.
Indicted, last month and announced today, December 13, by the Middlesex District Attorney’s office was Jonathan Barros, 28, of Henry Street in Framingham.
He was indicted on charges of trafficking a Class B substance (2 counts), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (4 counts), possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class E substance (2 counts), and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
He was arrested by Framingham Police in March, after running a red light, according to court documents.
When he was arrested he had 18 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of heroin and oxycodone, suboxone, ecstasy and gabapentin pills in his possession. He also had more than $5,000 cash and a digital scale with drug residue on it, according to court documents.
Barros also faces cocaine trafficking charges in Worcester County.
The Assistant District Attorney prosecuting the case is Mary F.P. O’Neill.
