FRAMINGHAM – A second Framingham food establishment will close at the end of this month, according to the Town of Framingham.

Framingham Source first published last month that Papa Razzi would close on December 31.

According to a report from town hall, Rasoi Gourmet Indian Kitchen will close on December 31.

The Indian cuisine restaurant is located at 855 Worcester Road in Trolley Square in Framingham.

The restaurant has not submitted paperwork to renew its license for 2018, as of today, December 12.

Someone from the restaurant contacted Source after the first publishing of this report, and said they are trying to renegotiate a lease to stay open and they would like to apply for their license renewals. The man did not identify himself, but since then the resaturant did not apply for its renewal licenses, and thus can not by law, open in 2018.

Earlier this year, Godavari, a chain Indian restaurant, opened at the former Acapulco’s on Route 9.

Biryani Pot, another Indian chair restaurant, opened earlier this year.

And another Indian restaurant is planning to open in the former O’Connell’s Pub.
