FRAMINGHAM – Rosemary (MacCormack) Garland, 93, a longtime resident of Framingham died on December 7, 2017.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late George & Rose (Lee) MacCormack, and the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Garland who died in 1993.
She enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle, camping and playing cards. She was a talented seamstress, and loved spending time and especially the holidays, with her family. Among several jobs throughout her life, she spent 9 years managing the dining room at St. Patrick’s Manor.
She is survived by her children, Debra Kanuha, Denise, and Paul Jr., her grandchildren, Leilani and Angelica Kanuha, her great grandson, Joseph, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her son Michael G., and her siblings, George, Jean, and Alexander MacCormack, Frances Crosby, Dorothy Clancy, and Rita Smiddy.
Family and friends will honor and remember Rosemary’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham on Monday, December 11 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning in St. George Church, 74 School Street in Saxonville at 10 o’clock.
Interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
