5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Thursday, December 7

1 Today is an early release day for the Framingham Public Schools. Students in grades K-12 will be dismissed early.

A parent or a guardian must be at the kindergarten bus stop, or the child will be returned to the school.



2. The South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) will hold a meeting tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 7 Bishop Street to discuss their plan to move Serenity House from Hopkinton to downtown Framingham.



3.   The Framingham Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.



4.  Seventh grade scholars at the Christa McAuliffe Charter School will present their culminating event tonight at 6. The focus is on immigration. Click here for more details.



5.   Uno’s on Route 9 is holding a pizza and beer festival tonight.  Ask about the pizza and a craft beer special for $10.
