Born in Salemi, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Ignazia (Asaro) Marrone.
She was the wife of 72 years to Francesco Asaro,
Asaro was a seamstress at the Natick Merchant Tailor for over 30 years.
Francesca is survived by her children, Antonietta “Toni” Asaro and Reno Asaro both of Framingham; grandchildren, Christopher and Robert Asaro both of Framingham. She is also survived by her sister, Piera Mistretta, several nieces and nephews and many good friends
She was the sister to the late Gioacchino Marrone of Ashland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, December 6, at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home in Framingham, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street in Framingham.
Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
