5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, December 4

Framingham Department of Public Works will be conducting curbside brush collection this week.



2.  Tonight is the selection of 22 bibs for the runners for Team Framingham 2018. There were 75 applicants.

3.   Framingham State Representative Jack Patrick Lewis is inviting the community to join him for a celebration of his birthday tonight from 6 to 8 at a  fundraiser Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company at 81 Morton Street in Framingham. The evening, planned and hosted by the Committee to Re-Elect Jack Lewis, is a fundraiser to support his ongoing campaign. Refreshments will be provided by Ashland’s famous Marconi’s and a children’s table will be available for younger attendees to build their own gingerbread houses. Lewis represents the 7th Middlesex District, which includes Ashland and Framingham precincts 8, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 18.

4.  Hemenway Elementary and Dunning Elementary school councils are both scheduled to meet tonight at 7.



5.   The Framingham High School PTO will hold its monthly meeting at 7 tonight in the library.


Plan ahead:   Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet at 7 in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building on Tuesday. The Framingham City Council is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 7 in the Memorial Building.
