FRAMINGHAM – Helen F. (Maslowski) Wlodyka, 92, a longtime resident of Saxonville, passed away peacefully on Friday November 24, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Born on November 1, 1925, she was predeceased by her husband Tadeus in 1999.
She was also predeceased by her siblings, Stella Dyka, Josephine Hutchinson, Edward Maslowski, and Benjamin Maslowsi.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Marie (Wlodyka) Patruno and her husband Vincent of Marlborough, her granddaughter Lee Ann (Patruno) Murphy and her husband Sean of Upton, her grandson Jeffrey Patruno and his wife Tina of Land o’ Lakes, FL, and her great-grandchildren Patrick, Andrew, and Bridget Murphy, and Harrison and Tadeus Patruno.
She grew up in Marlboro but lived most of her life in Saxonville.
She was loved by all who met and knew her. She was an avid sports fan, always willing to talk about the Patriots or her beloved Red Sox, always over a cup of coffee. She also especially loved music, singing, and listening to the piano. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor and remember Helen’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham on Thursday, November 30from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.
Her Funeral Mass will follow in St. George’s Church, 74 School Street in Saxonville, at 10a.m.
Interment St. Stephen Cemetery,Framingham.
Remembrances may be made in Helen’s name to Wingate at Sudbury, 136 Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 c/o Dina Ferreira, Director of Activities, to help fund the Activities Program, one of Helen’s favorite pastimes.
