5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Thursday, November 16
This forum is an opportunity for any and all Framingham residents to discuss ways to make our new city more environmentally-friendly and sustainable, said Framingham High student and organizer Ohad Klopman.
The public is invited. These forums are be offered to the community in an effort to update the district’s master plan for education, as previously contained in the Vision 2020 document.
3. Edgell Grove Trustees have a meeting scheduled today at 3 p.m. at the cemetery office. Click here for the agenda.
4. The Framingham Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building in the Ablondi Room. Click here for the agenda.
5. Last chance to purchase raffle tickets to benefit the 29th Annual Curtis Family Thanksgiving dinner. Tickets are $10. Tickets are being sold at Access Framingham at 4 Vernon Street, TJ’s on Route 135 in Ashland, and by calling Diane at 508-380-3637.
All prizes were donated and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the annual event that feeds more than 1,200 on Thanksgiving day and delivers more than 500 meals to elderly that day.
The drawing will be held tonight, Nov. 16 at China Gourmet at 7.
