5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Tuesday, November 14



1 There is a Framingham Council on Aging meeting today at 1:30 p.m. at the Callahan Center.


2. Framingham Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay will conduct his first of three community forums on educational visioning for the entire Framingham School District tonight at Hemenway Elementary School. The public is invited. These forums will be offered to the community in an effort to update the district’s master plan for education, as previously contained in the Vision 2020 document.

The forums are:
• Tuesday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hemenway Elementary for City Districts 1, 2 and 3.
• Wednesday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Barbieri Elementary for Districts 4, 5 and 6.
• Thursday, November 16,  at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilson Elementary for Districts 7, 8 and 9.
3. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.
4. Framingham Zoning Board of Appeals has a meeting scheduled tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.
5. Framingham High School Drama Company is staging a special performance of its musical Mary Poppins tomorrow night, November 15 at 7 for Framingham High students and staff. Tickers are just $7 and can be purchased at the door. ID may be asked to purchase.
