The City We Want Hosting Forums on Education and Sustainability

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High student Ohad Klopman is hosting two The City We Want forums over the next seven days.

On Thursday night, there will be a City We Want Forum on Sustainability at the Memorial Building in the Blumer room from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Sunday afternoon, there will be a City We Want Forum on Public Education at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch from 2 to 4 p.m.

Thursday night’s forum is co-hosted Sustainable Framingham and Transition Framingham.

This forum is an opportunity for any and all Framingham residents to discuss ways to make our new city more environmentally friendly and sustainable, said Klopman.

The City We Want is absolutely open to all viewpoints.

“We’ll be discussing Framingham’s place after the U.S. pulled out of the Paris Climate Accords, making Framingham more walkable and bike-friendly, investing in renewable energy, and the creation of a Framingham sustainability coordinator in our new government,” said Klopman.

On Sunday afternon, the focus will be on “discussing school choice, transportation, budgeting, and more. We will also have a special presentation by the newly-elected FHS student representative board, a committee elected by the student body of FHS to represent the school on the town level.”

The City We Want is committed to providing everyone an equal chance to get involved.

If you have any issues that you want to have discussed, email them to Ohad Klopman at or visit the The City We Want on Facebook.
