Framingham High Dance Team Wins New England Competition

ROXBURY – Framingham High Dance Team is undefeated in competitions this season.


The Flyers  captured first place at the New England Cheer and Dance Competition at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury today in the hiphop division.

There were four teams that competed, said head coach Angela Rodriguez


“After hours and hours put in during practice, our hard work has paid off once again,” said tri-captain Erin MacQueen.


“I’m incredibly proud of my team and how far we’ve come this season,” said McQueen. “Now it’s time to go to states at Braintree!”


The other tri-captains are Careena Uppaluri and Delylah Garcia. Other members of the team include Jasmynne Ramos, Sophia Dimidis, Olivia Jaynes, Raema Sheriff, Astrid Kabongo, Izzy Testiler, Dashley Baptiste, Ivy-Jolie Camacho, Jonalys Peña, Victoria Souza, Gabriella Branco, Alex Cahn, João Coelho, Jessie Faulk,Gabriella Bortolotti, Mainza Kasapo, Aylany Duran, Liz McElwain, Louisa Idzal, Beatriz Silva, and Rose Bailey.
