FRAMINGHAM – Newly-elected District 8 City Councilor Judith Grove has called the first City of Framingham Council meeting for Wednesday, November 15.
Grove, the oldest of the 11-member City Council elected on November 7, was responsible for calling the first meeting, per the Framingham Charter.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building.
Grove listed topics for discussion during the public meeting as:
- Welcome and Introduction of the Framingham City Council Members
- Discussion and possible Election of Officers
- Discussion and Adoption of Interim Rules that will govern the conduct of the business of the City Council
- Discussion of the process for reviewing Mayor-elect’s nominees to the Board of License Commissioners as established in Article V
