SLIDESHOW: Mary Poppins ‘Practically’ Sold Out

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School Drama Company will stage five performances of Cameron Mackintosh’s and Disney’s Mary Poppins over the next two weeks.

Most of the performances are ‘practically’ sold out.

The 3-hour musical, with one intermission, is based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney Film.

Opening night is tomorrow, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. There are additional performances on Saturday, Nov. 11, Friday, Nov. 17, and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. Tickets are extremely limited and will be $18 at the door, starting at 6 p.m. at the box office each night.


There will be a special performance on Wednesday, Nov. 15 for Framingham High staffa nd students at 7. Tickets are $7. ID may need to be shown.


Framingham High junior Amanda Fawell plays the title role of Mary Poppins. Framingham High sophomore Max Connor is Bert.


Kayla Safford and Michael Horblit portray Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Ethan Davan is Michael Banks and Lucy DeMeo is Lucy Banks.


Alex Magee is the bird woman, with Symphony Shea as Ms. Andrews, the “holy terror” of a nanny.


The show is produced by Chris Brindley and Donna Wresinski.
