NORWOOD – The Framingham High girls cross-country team competed in the Bay State Conference meet on Saturday, October 28 in Norwood.
The Flyers finished 10th out of 10 teams.
Wellesley took the title. Natick was the runner-up, and Needham High finished in third place.
Natick High junior Grace Connolly won the 3.1 mile course in 16.48 minutes.
Framingham’s top finisher was Mackenzie Verdini in 21.41 minutes. She took 66th place out of 83 runners.
Junior Jenna Riedl finished the course in 21.57 minutes for 71st place.
Sophomore Tess Robinson was Framingham’s third fastest runners Saturday taking 74th place in 23.01 minutes.
