UPDATED: Framingham Defeats Durfee for Third Win of Season

FALL RIVER – The Framingham High football team defeated a winless Durfee High football team on the road Friday night.

The Flyers won the game 19-6 to go 3-5, under new head coach Ed Mantie.

Durfee High is now 0-7 this season.

The Flyers had a 19-0 lead at halftime, and held on for the win.

In the first quarter, Ron Hernandez intercepted a Durfee pass. Framingham quarterback Andrew Swallow ran for 14-yards to give the Flyers a 6-0 lead. Cam Haugabrook converted a pass to make it 8-0.

Haugabrook scored to make it 16-0, with Swallow on the conversion.

A 28-yard field goal made it 19-0.

Framingham’s Seth Goldfarb intercepted Durfee late in the second quarter, but the Flyers didn’t score again the rest of the game.
