LETTER: District 3 City Council Candidate Steiner Will Be An ‘Independent Thinker’

As Framingham approaches its most important election in our history, it is imperative that we choose the right people to set us on a clear and positive direction for the future.

I am voting for Adam Steiner to be my City Councilor for District 3, and I ask my neighbors to consider doing the same.

Similar to my own experience, Adam is a lifelong resident of Framingham who understood at an early age how important it is to be involved in your community.

Since then, Adam has worked on numerous campaigns, served as a Town Meeting member and has taken an incredibly active role as a community activist and neighborhood leader.

When we served together on Town Meeting, I was impressed by Adam’s thoughtfulness on formulating opinions on important issues as well as his ability to articulate those positions.

He is an independent thinker with a strong ability to listen, communicate and collaborate, a rare combination in this day and age of political candidates.

I have no doubt that as a City Councilor, Adam will work closely with the new Mayor and the School Committee members to make the best decisions for Framingham, with the ability to ask the tough questions and provide strong pushback when necessary.

As I have watched Adam on the campaign trail this year, I have been impressed with the level of respect he has for our district, passionately speaking about the issues that we have right here in our neighborhoods such as our traffic, and open space, issues that are important to us all. I also appreciate that he has used his position as a candidate to regularly highlight hidden gems in our district, from Café Fresh Bagel to Callahan Park and so many more in between.

For those reasons and more, I am voting for Adam Steiner for City Councilor for District 3 on Tuesday, November 7th and ask that you consider joining me as we move Framingham towards an exciting future!
