Flyers Marching Band Finishes First in NESBA Competition

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High marching band finished in first place yesterday at a New England School Band Association (NESBA) competition in Melrose.

The Flyers scored 81.70 points, to earn a gold medal.

Medford High finished in second place, and Triton Regional High finished in third place.

This was the third competition for Framingham this season.

This was Framingham’s first, first place finish this season, with its show “Be.”

The previous two competitions, the Flyers finished in second place.

A total of 13 high school’s competed yesterday, October 14.

The band is under the direction of Andy Jasinski.

The Flyers drum major is Ryan Gallagher.
