FRAMINGHAM – Sr. Fidelis Mary Regan, O.Carm. passed into eternal life on the evening of September 28, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, in her 65th year of religious life.
Born in the Bronx, NY on January 12, 1934, she was the daughter of Scottish immigrants, Charles & Catherine (Ahearn) Regan.
Sr. Fidelis entered the Congregation on August 14, 1952 and made her Final Profession on December 8, 1958.
During her more than six decades in Carmel, she was known for her strong leadership skills, and served the Sisters and residents as Administrator among other positions.
Sr. Fidelis is survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, Stephen and Edmund.
Family and friends will honor and remember Sr. Fidelis Mary’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham on Sunday, October 1 from 2 to 7 P.M.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Holy Family Chapel on Monday at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Queen of Carmel Cemetery, St. Teresa’s Mother House, Germantown, NY at 2 P.M.
