FRAMINGHAM – Saturday is the 3rd Annual NorthEast Classic at Adesa in Framingham.
The event is held in memory of Vic Yerardi Memorial.
“My Dad, Vic Yerardi, was passionate about cars and everything in the automotive industry. This car event is to honor that passion,” said Ted Yerardi.
Vic was a race car enthusiast, who attended 50 Indy 500 races, and in 1990 served as a pit crew member for Galen Fox in the Indy 500 race. He was founder and sponsor of many car shows and events. A true racer in all forms he sponsored a Winston Cup Car, and was active in vintage races from coast to coast. He died of lung cancer in 2000.
The NorthEast Classic will be held at Adesa in Framingham from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Spectators can attend for free. There will be cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more to view. Plus there will be vendor booths, food, and raffles.
