BREAKING: Mayoral Candidates Spicer and Stefanini Moving on To November 7 Ballot

FRAMINGHAM – Based on polls numbers supplied to Framingham Source, mayoral candidates Yvonne Spicer and John Stefanini will move on to the November 7 ballot.

Spicer, a vice president of advocacy and educational partnerships at the Museum of Science, topped the ticket with more than 5,900.

Stefanini, a former state representative and Framingham Selectmen, finished second with 3,100 votes.

None of the other five candidates, broke 550 votes.

There were seven candidates on the preliminary ballot vying to be the first mayor of Framingham.

The individuals with the two highest vote totals on Tuesday will appear on the November 7 ballot.
