FRAMINGHAM – Tuesday, Sept 26 is election day in Framingham. The election is being held to narrow down the choices for elected office for the City of Framingham November 7 ballot.
While many in town have been talking about the mayoral race, with its seven candidates, one race that has been slightly overlooked is the at-large City Council race.
Framingham voters will elect two at-large city councilors to server along with nine district councilors on November 7.
There are five candidates vying for those two seats.
On Tuesday, Sept 26, voters will pick two candidates from the five names on the ballot.
The four individuals with the most votes will appear on the November 7 ballot.
Two of those individuals will be elected to the 11-member Framingham City Council.
Those two individuals, along with the newly-elected Mayor will be the only community-wide elected leaders for the new City of Framingham, come January 1, 2018.
Framingham Source sent a questionnaire to the five candidates. Four of the five responded by the deadline. You can read the responses by clicking the names below.
The names are list in the order they will appear on the Sept 26 ballot.
