FRAMINGHAM – 1,000 and walkers are registered for the inaugural Devin’s Dash this weekend at Walsh Middle School.
UPDATE: And registration is NOW closed as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 13.
The 5K event for runners and walkers will race money for Framingham’s Devin Suau, who is battling DIPG.
Suau, as many Framingham Source readers know, is battling DIPG, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, that has no cure, at this time. His family started the hashtag #WHYNOTDEVIN to bring awareness to the disease and the hope that Devin will be the first to defeat it.
The 5K event starts at 9 a.m. and only 1,000 individuals may register.
To register visit www.devinsdash.com.
The cost is $30.
There are less than 50 race numbers remaining as of yesterday, Sept. 12.
If you can not attend, you may still donate to the Suau family.
On Saturday, Sept 16, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be a bib pick up at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch at the children’s craft room.
