1 There is a meet and greet on the playground at McCarthy Elementary School for members of the Framingham Class of 2030 at 5 p.m. Families of incoming kindergarten students at McCarthy Elementary are encouraged to attend the event sponsored by the PTO.

McCarthy Elementary School will have an interim principal this year.

3. Dance DiNamics, a new dance studio in Nobscot, is having an open house tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. at 847 Edgell Road.

5.  The Framingham Library will celebrate the finale of its adult summer reading program tonight a concert by The Love Dogs!

The Love Dogs wow audiences and critics alike with their combination of great musicianship and pure fun, combining elements of jump blues, New Orleans R&B and early rock ‘n’ roll into their own powerhouse sound.

The grand prizes of an $80 gift card to Barnes & Noble or a Kindle Paperwhite donated by the Friends of the Framingham Library will be drawn at the concert. Enjoy ice cream donated by Ben & Jerry’s Natick Ice Cream Scoop Shop.
