1 TJX Companies will opens its first Homesense in America and its first Sierra Trading Post in Massachusetts today in Shoppers World in Framingham. This brings the total of TJX Companies stores in Shoppers World to four and the total TJX Companies in Framingham to 5. TJX Companies has its world-wide headquarters in Framingham.


2.  The Framingham Farmers Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common.

3. The Christa McAuliffe Branch Library will host the final concert in its Outdoor Summer Jazz Performances and Jams series tonight with Kaoruko Pilkington. The jazz concert will take place from 6:30 p.m. until dusk behind the library. In the case of rain, the concert will take place in the Community Room.


4.    The main Framingham Public Library will host a tomato showcase tonight from 8 to 9 p.m. Individuals are invited to bring tomatoes that they have grown at home to the event. They are welcome to bring some for display and some for sharing. Staff members at the library will share the best way to save tomato seeds, and also share helpful growing tips.



5. The MetroWest YMCA will hold a career fair  from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m.
