PHOTOS: Concert on the Common Features Rock n’ Roll and Politicians

FRAMINGHAM – The Town of Framingham continued its summer concert series on Friday night with a performances of Back Pages.

The band played classic rock ‘n roll from 6;30 to 8:30 p.m.

Along the pathway were tents featuring the Masonic Temple, the Rotary Club of Framingham, Club Pilates, MutualOne Bank, and a bunch of candidates for office.

The Town of Framingham will hold its first City of Framingham election on Tuesday, Sept 26.

Six of the seven mayoral candidates were at the concert trying to get their message out to voters.

Several City Council and School Committee candidates also were in attendance.

Also during the concert, the Framingham Veterans Office and the Framingham Medical Reserve Corps collected new white socks for veterans.

The final concert of the summer is this Friday night, August 18. Music starts at 6:30 p.m.
