FRAMINGHAM – Residents wanting to cast a ballot in the first City of Framingham preliminary election on Tuesday, Sept. 26 must register by Sept. 6.
The deadline is set by the state. The deadline requires eligible voters to register 20 days before an election.
Last week, a Suffolk County Superior Court judge said the practice of the 20 -day time frame was unconstitutional.
However, that ruling will have no effect on the Framingham election procedures.
