UMass Raises Tuition For Third Consecutive Year

The University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees approved a 3 percent tuition hike for the 2017-18 school year.

This is the third consecutive tuition increase in three years.

In-state undergraduates at the all UMass campuses, including Amherst and Lowell, will see tuition increase about $416, from $13,837 to $14,253 annually.

Room and board also will increase by 3.3 percent, or $398, from about $12,026 to about $12,424starting this fall.
