Abused Framingham Dog Finds New Family

FRAMINGHAM – In May, a Framingham man was arrested after a witness saw him whip and slam his young pit bull pup to the ground at Mary Dennison Park.

This month, the dog, who was “beaten and abused” by his former owner, was adopted by a new family.

The Facebook page PittieLove Rescue posted that “Caius” went home with “Kevin, Jamie, Leilani and Malakai” (pictured).

“As you can see, in typical pit bull fashion, he holds no grudges. Thank you to our Animal Control and law enforcement officers for all of their work on this case. Thank you also to the staff at Slades Veterinary Hospital and to foster Mom, Kelly, for caring for Caius until he was well enough to be adopted,” wrote the Facebook page.

In May, Framingham Police arrest Aramis Ortiz, 20, of 10 Waverly Street and charged with animal cruelty.

The dog, named Chaos, a 9-month old pit bull pup was then taken to Slade’s Veterinary Hospital in Framingham.
