Although Donna Jones is a soft-spoken individual, the impact she has on our school is larger than life.
Jones is the epitome of a team player – no task is too small or too trivial.
She takes her role as a Special Education assistant teacher within the Stapleton community seriously and works to support both teachers and students.
Her warmth and genuine concern for others is evident each and every day.
She is able to help students transition into Kindergarten with ease due to her extensive knowledge and caring demeanor. Her expertise can be observed within the classroom in a variety of ways including both small and whole group activities and center rotations, as well as in her everyday interactions with students.
Donna is a dedicated professional who exceeds expectations on a daily basis.
Jones successfully develops students’ self-discipline, self-efficacy, and sense of responsibility. She helps children who are having difficulty with a skill or task, she provides supports to help them grow emotionally and socially and also takes the lead in the delivery of classroom management strategies and techniques.
Jones is a valuable and well respected member of the Stapleton staff.
