SLIDESHOW: Truck Day Kicks-Off Framingham Library’s Summer Reading Program

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library kicked off its summer reading program for children on Saturday with “Truck Day.”

Framingham DPW, Framingham Fire, Access Framingham all had trucks at Hemenway Elementary School for the 2-hour event on June 17.

Families could sign their children up for the library’s summer reading program at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch on Water Street.

This year’s program is called “Build a Better World.”

Framingham Source is proud to be a sponsor of the library’s summer reading program.

“Build a Better World” is sponsored by the Framingham Public Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

The Framingham Public Library will sponsor a teen summer reading program and the adult summer reading program kicks off on July 1.
