Doris Chiero is a fourth grade teacher at Woodrow Wilson who is retiring at the end of this school year.
She has worked in Framingham Public Schools for 30 years – 29 at Woodrow Wilson and one at Barbieri.
She was hired as an assistant in 1987 for grades 1-3. In 1989, she was hired as a grade 3 classroom teacher.
She has also taught in grades 1-5 and co-taught in a special education inclusion classroom.
Doris was an integral part of the International Baccalaureate pilot at Wilson and was on the team that started the journey of IB.
She is a very caring teacher, lifelong learner, and has never lost that zeal for improving the lives of her students. We will all truly miss her.
