FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Unit of the League of Women Voters is holding a public forum on Wednesday, June 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the community room at the McAuliffe Branch Library.
Guest speakers include Framingham Town Clerk Valerie Mulvey, who was Chair of the Framingham Charter Commission, and Adam Blumer, member of the Framingham Charter Commission. The two will explain to residents what they can expect as Framingham changes from a Town to a City.
If you are wondering how the budget process will work; how schools and bus routes may be impacted; if your trash pick-up will happen less frequently; if the process for obtaining a building permit will change; or who you should contact in the city government if you have a question or concern, join us for answers to your questions. We look forward to an informative and engaged non-partisan discussion that will benefit all who attend.
Discussion will begin at 7 p.m. and questions from the audience will be allowed.
All residents of Framingham are invited to attend.
This is the first of many Informed Framingham forums the League of Women Voters will be sponsoring for residents.
