Mayor Setti Warren To Speak To Framingham Democratic Committee Sunday

FRAMINGHAM – Democrats in Framingham will be holding its June meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 11th, at the Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road.  

This meeting will consist of a presentation by Mayor Setti Warren, who has announced his candidacy for Governor in the next election cycle.  

Mayor Warren is a two term mayor of Newton, and he will be discussing his campaign, issues he will be raising, and his record as a successful mayor.  This is the first in a series of introductions and discussions with candidates for state-wide constitutional office.  

Over the coming months, the Town Committee will meet with all candidates for state-wide and regional office.

In addition there will also be a recap of last week’s Democratic State Convention and a discussion of various issues raised at the Convention and an opportunity to make suggestions for the next Convention.  Among the various subcommittee reports will be  the presentation of a new communications plan for the approval of the membership.  Also, Democratic candidates for local election will be given an opportunity to address the membership for a very short comment period. As always, there will be refreshments and time to socialize with the guest speakers.
