Cheryl Phillips joined the Framingham Public Schools in 2006 as Hemenway’s part-time office secretary.
In 2009 Cheryl became Hemenway’s office manager and has been successfully running our office ever since. Cheryl is instrumental in facilitating the day-to-day operation of Hemenway School.
Cheryl’s position requires that she possess thorough knowledge of all school and district procedures, rules and regulations…this is a daunting responsibility which she fulfills with skill and heart! Among her many and varied duties she can be seen helping a child who forgot his/her lunch, clarifying a parent question, supporting a teacher who needs access to the supply closet…all at the same time!
Cheryl has proven to be an “additional right arm” for Kelly and me, submitting enrollment figures, checking on orders, monitoring the status of the budget, transferring records…all while ensuring that nothing is overlooked. Cheryl is hard working, conscientious, diligent and caring. We couldn’t do it without her!!! Cheryl moved to Framingham when she was in fifth grade. Cheryl and her husband Bill Phillips, Framingham’s attendance officer for several years, have one daughter, Kayla, who is a preschool teacher in Natick. Cheryl, Bill and Kayla are proud graduates of the Framingham Public Schools.
