Framingham Democrats To Vote On ‘Sanctuary City’ Resolution

The following is a press release:

FRAMINGHAM – Democrats in Framingham will be holding their May Meeting at 7:00 PM, this Sunday, May 21st, at the Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road. This meeting will consist of a Platform Hearing, at which all area Democrats may propose platform issues for the Annual State Convention, to be held in June. If there are issues that people would like to have considered at the Convention, this is the time and place to raise those issues.

There will also be two resolutions discussed and voted upon, one dealing with prayer at the State Convention, and the other on the Safe Communities Act.

As usual as we approach elections and candidates begin to emerge, there will be a brief opportunity for Democratic candidates to introduce themselves and say a few words.

In addition, for the benefit of those elected as State Delegates, there will be a discussion of the events to be anticipated at the Convention.

This month’s charity will be seeking cash donations to the #whynotdevin fund.

The Framingham Democratic Town Committee normally meets on the second Sunday evening of the month at the Community Building at Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road, Framingham, MA 01701. More information on the Town Committee is available on the website at
