Natick Outdoor Store Celebrates 70 Years on June 3

NATICK – In celebration of their 70th year in business, Natick Outdoor Store will host an anniversary sale on Saturday June 3.

Along with dozens of items on sale for $19.47 (the store was founded in 1947), they also have a long list of items to give away.

The Natick Outdoor Store was founded in 1947 by Huck Saxe, a WWII Veteran. Founded as an army-navy surplus store, it has grown into a full-line sporting goods, clothing and outdoor store.

Today, the store is still family-owned and run by the second generation, Henry, who has been at the store since 1983.

“We are very excited to celebrate our 70th year in business” said owner Henry Kanner. “We truly have terrific customers and we want to thank them for supporting us for all of these years. We’ve seen a lot of change over the years but we have stayed true to our roots of good selection, great prices, and excellent customer service.”
