FRAMINGHAM – Adrienne M. (Verrier) Kelleher, age 88, a resident of Framingham since 2003 formerly of St. Petersburg’s, FL and Cambridge died Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham.
She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Kelleher, Jr. who died September 1, 2005.
Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Belanger) Verrier.
Kelleher worked as a nurse’s aide for many years at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She spent her life caring for her family and friends and was very compassionate to the people who she met and helped while working at Mt. Auburn Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Herman and her husband Robert of Bellingham, Susan Fiumara and her late husband Peter A. of Hilton, NY, Eileen Benoit and her husband Philip of Wakefield, Julie Blier and her husband David of Rochester, NH, Mary Kelleher and her husband Daniel Hreachmack of New Fairfield, CT, Christine Kelleher-Ross and her husband Douglas of Natick, Adrienne Tompkins and her husband William of Denmark, ME and Phyllis J. Lowry and her husband Gerard of Framingham. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, her brother Alfred Verrier of FL and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Steven, Richard and Maryellen Kelleher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Monday, May 15 at 10 a.m. in St. George’s Church, 74 School St., Framingham.
Burial will take place at a later date at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
At the family’s request, there will be no funeral home visiting hours.
