FRAMINGHAM – Stapleton Elementary School held its first-ever STEAM-A-Thon on April 26.
Organized by math coach heather Allen and Stapleton parent Michelle Rosenberg, this event allowed students to interact with hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
In science, students explored states of water with slime and water beads.
In technology, students learn to program mice through a maze.
Students learned to solve a problem in a story, using engineering.
After creating kazoos, students explored sound waves in the art & music station.
At the math station, students used dice and cards to create math magic.
And every student received a free frozen ice cream or frozen yogurt from the chemists at Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt.
