SLIDESHOW: Framingham Runners Who Completed the 2017 Boston Marathon

Congrats to each and every runner, who crossed the finish line.

While the weather was spectacular for the spectators, not so much for the runners.

Kenyans Edna Kiplagat and Geoffrey Kirui won the women’s and men’s races in the 121st Boston Marathon.

In her Boston debut, Kiplagat finished in 2:21:52.

While the 70 degree temperatures did not benefit the runners, the tailwinds were fabulous for the wheelchair division. Both the men’s and women’s set world best times, unlikely to be world records due to the tailwinds.

Marcel Hug won Boston for the third time, finishing in 1:18:04 to beat the course record and world best time by 21 seconds.

Manuela Schar shattered the women’s best time by five minutes, winning in 1:28:17.
