Team Framingham Raises Record-Breaking $75,694

FRAMINGHAM – Team Framingham Boston Marathon runners have raised more money for their charities than any other Team Framingham, said Michael Bower.

As of Saturday night, Team Framingham 2017 had raised $75,694 for six Framingham-based charities.

The runners will take off from Hopkinton for the 121st Annual Boston Marathon on Monday morning, April 17. Many will be wearing their Team Framingham shirts.

The previous Team Framingham fundraising record was set in 2016 at $73,126, said Bower.

In the four years, that Team Framingham began, $262,169 has been raised, thus far, he said.

This year, banners with the Team Framingham runners have been hung in downtown Framingham.

Raised thus ar:

  • Resiliency for Life – $18,783
  • Callahan Center – $17,559
  • Hoops for Homework – $17,429
  • Framingham High School Foundation – $9,185
  • Voices Against Violence – $8,473
  • Framingham History Center – $4,265
