To watch Liz Gallagher work in the office, one just sits back in amazement. She is a whirlwind of energy, multitasking in a way that seems impossible. You can often find her standing behind the high office counter with eight different teacher schedules in front of her, synthesizing information so every class is covered. While doing this task, she’s helping students in need, answering the phones, and greeting every teacher who comes into the office with a smile.
One of Liz’s greatest strengths is her flexibility. Daily, she is able to roll with the punches and handle whatever is thrown her way. Liz Gallagher is everybody’s champion; she knows the name of every staff member’s kids and asks about them on a regular basis. Students who come to the office for help know that Mrs. Gallagher will stop what she is doing to assist them. Her warm demeanor and positive attitude make our office a friendly place for parents to visit. Teachers, students and families know that Liz is the “go to” person for anything Cameron.
One teacher states, “It doesn’t matter what you need, you can contact her day or night, and she is there for you.” Liz is highly organized and she is skilled at keeping others organized. When called upon to teach someone a new task she does so with patience. She is calm and confident during times of chaos and is able to find the humor in each day. There are many times Liz has come in early and stayed late without ever asking for anything in return. She believes the success of each day is the result of a team effort.
