The Framingham Interfaith Clergy Association, Welcoming Framingham, Metrowest Showing Up For Racial Justice (SURJ), Framingham Teachers Association and other Community Partners invite the residents of the town of Framingham to a Community Forum: Framingham Coming Together – Creating a Safe Community.
The public is invited to attend the event on Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at the Greater Framingham Community Church at 44 Franklin Street in Framingham.
Together we will explore in a safe place, the challenges surrounding immigration, and the rights of immigrants and refugees, Today, we have fear in our community. We will explore how we can enlist all of Framingham to be educated advocates around these issues, and challenges as well. Provide a better understanding of our rights. We will host a panel presentation of community resource partners helping us best on how to communicate and embrace each,” states the press release
