Framingham Police Searching For Owner of Emaciated Dog

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Animal Control was contacted yesterday, March 20, about a young male dog, found as a stray

The young male Pit Bull-type dog, is severely emaciated, said Animal Control Officer Katherine J. MacKenzie.

“The dog is receiving veterinary care and is scheduled for surgery later today in order to remove a foreign object that on x-ray appears to be blocking the dog’s intestine,” said Officer MacKenzie. “We are hoping for the best. We will not know his prognosis until the surgery is complete.”

Framingham Police are looking for the public’s help to learn about the dog and its owner.
