BOSTON – Marian High freshman Chance Yan was the first Mustang swimmer to qualify for post-season competition in the school’s history.
Yan swam in the 100 backstroke at the Division 2 state championship meet at Boston University, said head coach Sue Morse.
His time of 56.62 seconds placed his 12th overall.
This was Marian High’s first points in our first post dual-meet season event in the team’s 4 year history, said Morse.
“This was a great finish to both the team’s season and to Chance’s freshman year,” said Morse. “I am very proud of Chance’s swimming success and of his awesome attitude of being a team member, who seeks to grow his team.”
