Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mildred (Banta) Montalbano, and the beloved wife of Roy E. Rogers.
She grew up in Framingham and often reminisced fondly about riding horses in Sherborn, and spending many a day riding her bicycle around Framingham with her beloved Irish setter “Red”.
A graduate of Framingham South High School, she focus later in life was her family, especially her three boys.
In 1971, she married the love of her life Roy, and together they raised their combined six children.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Bruce Gordon & his wife Ruth Ann of PA, Scot Gordon & his longtime girlfriend Kim Young of Framingham, her step children, Carol Emerson of Milford, and David of Bellingham, her sister, Josette Tomassini of Framingham, 3 step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William Gordon, her sister, Judith Montalbano, her brother Andrew Montalbano, and her step son Ronald.
Family and friends will honor and remember her life by gathering for visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham, on Saturday, February 18,16 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
