FRAMINGHAM – Framingham School Committee Chair Heather Connolly just announced tonight the names of three finalists for the next Framingham Superintendent of Schools at tonight’s meeting, January 24.
A 13-member search committee interviewed nine candidates and identified four finalists, one of which dropped out before tonight’s announcement.
The three finalists are:
- Patricia Kinsella. She is the Assistant Superintendent at Lincoln Public Schools. She is a finalist for the Sharon Superintendent position. Sharon will vote to hire a superintendent before Framingham.
- Marco Rodrigues. He is the Chief Academic Officer with the Worcester Public Schools.
- Robert Tremblay. He is the Superintendent at Weston Public Schools. He was the Superintendent for the Milford Public Schools for nine years. Trembley was one of the finalists for Framingham Superintendent in 2012.
Former Framingham Stacy Scott, who had been on a paid leave since before the 2016-17 school year began, submitted his resignation to the School Committee last month.
The School Committee named Ed Gotgart interim Superintendent of Schools in August 2016. Gotart was one of the 13-members of the search committee.
