Police: Vehicle Stolen In Framingham Used In Norwood Robbery

NORWOOD – Norwood Police believe a vehicle stolen in Framingham was the get-away car for a theft of a “Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society donation can” from the Mobil gas station in Norwood on Saturday, January 14.

Norwood Police, on its Facebook page, said “surveillance obtained captures a male and female party enter the store together. The female party attempts to distract the employees while the male swipes the can. A license plate on the suspects vehicle was obtained, but the vehicle they came in had been reported stolen earlier that morning in Framingham.”

DONATION CAN THEFTWe are investigating the theft of a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society donation can from the Mobil Gas station located at 971 Providence Highway on 1/14/17. Surveillance obtained captures a male and female party enter the store together. The female party attempts to distract the employees while the male swipes the can. A license plate on the suspects vehicle was obtained, but the vehicle they came in had been reported stolen earlier that morning in Framingham.
